Dear Ron;

It's very difficult for paint (of any type) to stick to rubber because It's flexible.

Glass too, expands/contracts with heat/cold.

This is why a colored film is used on the inside of the glass. Just pick a color close to your vehilces body paint.

Trying to do it otherwise will make your vehicle hard to sell and worth less money.

Good luck. \:\)

If you do not care about seeing through the glass, replace it with plexiglass of the same thickness, rough it up and paint it. You might be able to vinyl or upholstery paint to stick to the rubber.

Another option is to see if graphics shop can make a vinyl decal so to speak to cover the window and rubber. Horsepower TV covered a complete Nova and it looked like it had been custom painted.
