Inliners International Forums General Discussion Engines Oil Breather Location

I have a 55 270CI installed in my 50 GMC. I'd like to use the 50 GMC Valve cover but it has no way of letting me add oil or oil breather.

Question is, will the side option work using a straight chevy oil fill tube with a breather cap instead of using the old drafting unit from my 228CI? All comments are welcome on this.......

It has to draw clean air into it someplace and draw condensation(moisture) back out.So run a hose from the air cleaner down to where your old road draft tube was for intake and bore a hole in the valve cover for you PCV valve.You have just joined the 21st century.Welcome.
