I'm pretty sure that what I'm doing is what you want also. By clicking on the "Bookmark this Link" option , after I've right-clicked on the topic of interest, I'm just saving the link to the topic, so that whenever I click on the bookmark I will go to the current thread, not just what it was when I saved the bookmark.
