I haven't posted anything in quite a while. Moved from Pennsylvania up here to the great white north of Alaska about three years ago. I'm in construction and am gone alot and haven't had much tme for checking out the site or even working on my 66 Chevy II. I got most of the mechanical finished up back in Pa. Finally got her painted last year to a Jade green metallic. Had it done at MAACO in Anchorage. They did a pretty decent job. Still a few things to go -- replace the headliner, which I have. A little interior trim work. Rear seat and back upholstering. Convert to cable linkage for throttle and powerglide kickdown -- have the kit from LOKAR. Just picked up some firewall grommets yesterday so I don't cut the cable. And a pedal that came off of, if I remember correctly, a 68 Nova. Just gotta work in the time to do it all. Just wanted to say hello to everyone. Is anyone else out there on the site from Alaska?
