Actually, I feel this topic affects Inliners and fits very well in Bench Racing. It was posted to inform us of an unfortunate situation, and should be viewed as such.
If anyone out there doesn't know who Patrick Dykes is; he is Inliner #67, a Past President and Lifetime Member, and was inducted into the Inliners Hall of Fame in 2002 for outstanding contributions to the Inliners and promotion of the inline engine. He owns Patrick's in Casa Grande Arizona.
Now, if you follow Drew's link to the Stovebolt site you can read the whole post. You can also see how it broke down into a fiasco in only one page, and with the moderators statement, you can only wonder about the original intent of the whole thing.
Also, the poll now going on is a simple majority vote of those BB users who care to express their choice. At this time it is almost 70% in favor of keeping us all 'Inline'. The poll will remain open until about 8pm on the 24th.
