Yes, I too vote for the Autolite 2100/2150. You mentioned you wanted to maximize fuel economy, so I would look for one of the smaller ones - the venturi size is cast on the side behind the throttle linkage. Try a 1.08 or 1.02, found on small blocks. The 351 / 400 generally used the larger 1.21, which would work, but I feel the smaller version will give a little bit better fuel economy and throttle response. By the way I usually pay $5 for them - another distinct advantage vs Holley. Good luck.
