I've heard the 230 was built as late as 1973. What type of A727 automatic is on the 230? Does it use the small block A727, \6 or the big block version. I am not interested in running a A727 behind a 230, but if it's the small block A727, is there an adaptor plate? If so, it might be practical to run the A904 or even the A500 O/D behind a 230 by duplicating the adaptor plate.
