who would be a good source for a 1947 Plymouth coupe gas tank? I have scooop from Bernbaums,Roberts Motor Parts, Katners..Frump

Just how bad is it??

As far as I know, nobody repops tanks for these. Repairing your original, finding one from a used parts dealer like PlyDo, or getting one from a dry western state salvage yard may be your only choices. Alot of these places advertise in Hemmings Motor News. www.dvap.com comes to mind. The P15-D24 site may give you some leads also.
