Thank guys, it was a very satisfying trip, after 5 years of anticipation!

Ray-

The engine started life as a 218 cu in flathead six and is original to the car. It had 86,000 miles on it when I bought the car. I swapped in a NOS crank, rods, and flywheel from a 230, to gain 12 cubes, and bored .030" over gets me another 5, for a total of 235 cu in. Add in a bunch of hop up speed parts, and it runs so good still I can't quite get over it...

I'm also running a '55 Dodge overdrive. The overdrive is absolutely the key to the terrific drivability of the car. These old OD units are a 33% gear reduction and man does it make a difference!
