I'm working on another 265 and I have an Isky Cam that I want to put in it but the oil pump gear teeth are ground backwards compared to a stock cam. After doing some research I found out that the Marine engines used cam gears instead of a timing chain. The gears turn the camshaft backwards but I have not been able to find a reverse oil pump gear to compensate for the backwards turning camshaft. Any advice is welcome! I'm looking for a complete set of cam gears and oil pump shaft gear.
