I see your point. This definitely seems wrong, especially since the cutaway shows a water passage between the cylinders. Unless they used "Australian inches" (joke) I think this must be an error. It was to be somewhere in the 4.3 range. Unfortunately, there is no mention in the text; the dimension is only given in one table. It does indicate that the spacing is the same for each one, so I guess you could measure from the first to the last as accurately as possible.. that way any error would be divided by 5.
