I am hoping to eventually install disc brakes on the front of my 66 Chev PU, but right now I have a leaking master cylinder, so I want to upgrade to a dual cylinder, and eventually use it with a disc brake set up. I have been told that a 1968 pu master cylinder will fit, but has to have a proportioning valve because of lock up. so I have 2 questions. Has anyone done this kind of a master cylinder swap before and what are the steps/parts and pieces to swap over to disc brakes. I am aware that you can just bolt in a 73-79 front clip with a shim on the frame, but I want to keep the lowered springs etc that I have on the front now. any help woudl be appreciated
