I have a 292 from a 83 Chev Truck in my 54 Chevy Sedan. Want to install a power rack-n-pinion but haven't had any luck finding a power steering pump bracket. (it mounts up with the Alt bracket) The yards in my area don't seem to have any I-6's in them.

I have searched the net and can't find anyone that make s one.

Any Help?

Thanks, Patrick

Dear Patrick;

You might try; Tom's Truck Parts in Maimi, Ok. Their # is: 918.542.3871.

Also Patrick's in Arizona might work.

Another way would be to do it like they did in 1955. The generator & power stearing were mated "pickyback". If there's room in there for all that.

Good luck, John M.......
