I've got a 79 chevy Stepside that I bought with no power anything, and I was lucky enough to find a donor truck in a salvage yard with the integral head like mine. I got the entire A/C system in one piece, the Power steering system in once piece (didn't disconnect any hoses), and the power Brakes are next. So it can be done, but yeah, they are pretty rare...
