I am going thru the opposite right now. My new frame had 55 1st series springs which moved my torque tube rearend back too far. The 55 1st series springs have the center bolts dead center in the springs where the 54 had a shorter front section. I am going to trade springs to go back to normal. Maybe you just need to find a set of 55 1st series springs.
