Did the engine have oil pressure when it was runnng?---Oil pump failure?---Plugged oil passage?---Did you prime the oil pump and oil passages by using a electric drill to turn the pump?---Bearing fitted to tight?---Correct bearing size?---I don't think it is a engine difference between Canada and U.S.---Wrong oil pump?---Let us know what happened when you open it up.
