It says this about the GM-8
"It's an IHI turbo and the only thing I can tell you is the inlet wheel is very similar to a V wheel from turbonetics for their T04b stuff. The exhaust wheel has the same dimensions as a T3 stage II exhaust wheel."
Is this similar to any turbo that a map is available for.
Mbhd, You are right, gas is getting to be more of a concern and probably will continue so. I think I'll go with a 250 unless there is a good reason not to. This truck weighs around 3,500#. Not wanting to tow with it. Still thinking the 700R4 for a trans.
What results should I expect on a good 250 with a GM-8? I guess I'd be stuck with what housings and A/R that it comes with. I know of no after market parts for these.
Will I be better of saving for a GN or 60-1 turbo?
