I have a 65 Bel Air with a 230 that is burning some oil (smoking gray). It still runs good but it will need a rebuild soon. So where can you order parts for the rebuild like rings, vavles and so on. Thanks

Your local parts house should be able to help you out. Gaskets, bearings are the same for the 194, 230 and 250 engines. Rings will be different. If you have any trouble or want to add an aluminum intake or headers, contact Tom Langdon at Stovebolt It is one of the links from this site.

i would suggest using your local machine shop. the ones doing the head/ block work. that way they can stand behind their work. i hear to many times from my local shop about guys bringing in the wrong stuff and having to make it work. it costs more doing it the wrong way. tom
