With any adapter that tries to add more barrels you have the same problem, you still only have a hole meant for fewer barrels. I read many good things about Tom Langdons adapter and the Holley/Weber on it. It maybe that the combination maximizes what you can get through that one barrel hole. If the Autolite and Holley you speak of are larger you may see minimal gains and more than likely have some problems. If your looking for more power get a four barrel manifold and put a two barrel adapter put on it.
