I will try the turn and count method, although it really doesn't make any difference to me really. The build code MM3 identifies it as 3:76 in first gear and 2:18 in second gear. More than that it don't matter none. And it's a NWC, again, who cares. It's going behind a 1969 GM 6 cylinder 230 c.i. motor. And at 64 years I don't that I will be leadfoot enough to harm it any. Only a 10" clutch too. I'm happy just to have the 5 speed with no more dollars than I got in it. Thanks to all who answered. Perley
