canuck Active BB Member C Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 33 B.C. Canada	my 261 came from a '61 canadian pontiac and had the 848 head with steam holes...it was a low mileage engine that had never been opened...sooo...it would appear 848 heads were stock on pontiac 261's.........
