I have been in touch with Tom. He doesn't have anything to help. Although it's been a couple of years since I talked to him, he was pretty much against the idea. He wanted me to sell the '57 and start with an earlier car because putting in the 292 would ruin the resale value of the car. He may be right, but, I have wanted a hot six in a '55 -'57 chevy since I graduated from high school in '66! That's pretty ironic since I bought my 292 from him at the Indianapolis swap meet about ten years ago!
