Hello....Well I tried to rebuild my rochester 1 barrel on my 40 chevy 216....Well I took the 2 haves apart and 2 balls (1 smaller than the other) fell out. I know one of them went to the Main Well Housing, I think (the smaller one, with the smaller cap), and the other I dont know where it came from. I want to assume it goes at the end of the power valve piston, but I dont know. My instructions I got with the kit are hard to tell from the diagram. In any event I have to of the check balls and dont know where they go. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah thats the one. And I only see 1 ball that I wouldve ran across (#16), the 2nd one in the picture (#37), I didnt take out. I wouldve had to remove #35, and I didnt, its still in there. Is #60 a ball? I dont think it is, but maybe wrong.

I did put it back together only using check ball #16 and it runs pretty bad, hesitates, backfires. I just wanted to change the accerator pump. The car has been sitting a couple years, so Im sure the gas isnt the best, but its really running rough. Thanks for the help.
