Ok, I'm not even close or ready, but was trying to find some engine colors for a 65 Chevy PU. It originally had a 235 and I believe it has a 250 out of a 66 Chevelle, but that hasn't be verified as of yet.

I'm wanting to kinda stay with the original colors and maybe mix it up a little, but it all depends on what it would of had from the factory.

The last year for the 235 to be in production was 62, so it probably was a 230. Most all of the Chevy passenger car engines were the Chevrolet red/orange. I don't think there was any change in color unless it was a truck or till later in the 80s(?) they changed to blue??? I sure someone out there knows more than I do.

Darn it. Yeah its a 230 not a 235. ;\)

The engine in question came out of a 66 Chevelle and is currently a 250, but I guess what I would be looking at is the color that came out of a truck. Since well its a truck that I'm rebuilding.

Wow that is a cool color of blue. I feel like an interior designer picking out curtains.

This car restoration site called Hirsh Automotive has Engine Paint. Dont know if it is the exact color you want but they have it in Brush Paint and Spray Paint.
