we put a different carb on today, and it idled fine, reved great...etc etc. was basically perfect. then we took apart the carb that was on it...rotchester monojet w. automatic choke, converted to manual..and it seemed ok. so we cleaned it up, put it back together, and tried it. it'll start up with fuel poured in..but then it seems like it just doesn't get any fuel. soo...i'll check for the gasket leak. keep ya informed.

Sounds to me like either the fuel is being blocked in the carb or its sucking in air.
If you have a air compressor try setting it at a low pressure of about 8 to 12 pounds and blow it into the fuel port of the carb and see if that clears the line and check all the screws around the outside of the carb and make sure they are tight
