Thanks for the reply. I think the starter and electrical are ok. When I push the starter button the starter turns over good. I'm 80% sure it has something to do with the solenoid engaging the flywheel. It'll do it for 1-2 revoulutions then disengage the starter from the flywheel. The starter will continue to run but the motor doesn't turn over. So my next question is, should I replace the solenoid, get a repair kit from chevy's of the 40's, or will just cleaning the solenoid fix it???
