Inliners International Forums General Discussion Engines Distributor shaft binding

Hi Inliners, having a little probem with my 302, the dist shaft is binding in the oil pump, do I have the pinch bolt done up to tight, causing the mialignment? Thank in advance for any help.

Slot the bolt hole on the clamp where it bolts on the block.Sounds like you are not using the factory vacuum advance unit and you are using some kind of other clamp ?
