Ok, I know when folks get bored, they sometimes get in trouble. I, on the other hand, do some pretty strange things. This was being thrown away (we all like free things) and I just thought what would it look like to upgrade from a 5" diameter exhaust tip to a 6" one? M-M-M, I just guessing that 5" is too small? Anyway, it kinda looks like an industrial turbine exhaust port. They might just scrape when exiting driveways too. My neighbor came over and scratched his head and said,"You're not going to put those on, are you?"
I guess it's loud enough when i leave for work at 6:30AM. My wife says she can here me shifting over a mile away in the early mornings.

Well, I'm not going to make the decision. I'll let the good old Inliners board make the decision then I'll let you know my thoughts. Someone once said bigger is not necessarily better, but I bet he never heard a six in heat! Let's get some comments and have some fun!

At the next cruise night you can one - up the flame throwers by stuffing oranges in the pipes and going for a distance record.

They certainly look mean enough in the pics!!

hehe my brother has 6 inch straight pipes on his freightliner.

they look great just not sure wether they would look better left like that or with a slash cut.

i was once thinking about putting a 5inch tip on my old winter beater to pokefun at hondas. it was a nissan micra. (about the same size as a fesvita)

I like the idea of cutting them on an angle. They still might be a little large, so what about moving them under the tail lights, or close. That way they would kind of mirror the tail lights with the angle cut. Probably not that easily done. Do they have to be extended that far to preserve the paint.

Thanks for all of the replys and suggestions. I too had thought about angle cutting them to give it a more aggressive look. I'll give it a try and we'll all see the results. I believe they should be tucked in to the rolled pan but it looked so bizzare sticking out like that.
It might be just too "over-the-top" for me but I might finish them up and "Slip" them on at car shows for giggles. It would take huge Cahones to drive around with them on all the time. If they finish up really nice, I might be persued to run them and have small animals use them as a condo during the winter!

Thanks to everyone who participated in this weird
survey. Hey, what the hell. This hobby is all about being different from everyone else, so I have decided to finish them, angle cut them, plate them, and hang them! Watchout Rice Rockets!
Beware of the inline Chevy with "The Pipes"!
