Thanks guys! The picture doesnt do the turbo justice. It looks real dinky in there and little. In fact it is a real tight fit when we get ready for all the plumming.
You´ll keep your nitrous Camshaft??
The cam is at Comp Cams getting reground with less overlap.
I think with no more than 14~16 psi, you´ll be near the 1000hp, easy!!!
Good luck on this new setup. For sure it will be much better and much painless than the nitrous setup!!!
Man, We hope so because a nitrous motor like this is a maintance nightmare.
I bought a Turbo like yours, a Turbonetics Y2K with 88mm, and I´ll be testing it in a couple weeks. I think with that turbo, we could shut-off the nitrous to wake up the turbo, like we are using right now with the Bullseye S491.
I would like to know the outcome of the smaller turbo.
