A Chevy 250 I just picked up has casting numbers 93403466. I am hoping it is a truck block so it will be easy to turn into a manual trans engine. Where do I look for z-bar holes on this block?
Also I just want to freshen the engine up and plan to change the waterpump, head gasket (maybe surface the head), cam, pushrods and lifters. Can anyone think of anything else before I go tearing in to it?
