Why does that thing idle at 900 to 1000 rpm? Thats seems pretty high, you sure there is no vacuum leak somewhere?
I have been running Roahds variable lifters for a long time and really like the way they work. My cam is not very big (260/270 ADV duration, .464"/.490" lift,110 centerline) but at idle with hot oil and Roahds lifters, it idles like a stock cam with 18" of vacuum. Something you might think about if your cam pretty big.
