Inliners International Forums General Discussion Engines Best place for temp sending unit??

My temp sending unit is currently installed in the side of the head. There is also a pluggnd hole in my thermostat mounting housing below the t-stat. I figure I could also mount it there. Is there any advantage in mounting it in one place or the other. My engine is a 250. Thanks, Todd
