I was aiming at making the car a bit more smoother at the rear, so i cut a few holes accross the back, then welded in some exhaust pipe to house the lights, I wanted to use the caddy lights, but thought better of it, as they would of stuck out too far and made good leg scrapers if someone walked too close, so i decided to keep the lights back a bit (frenched)
I have learnt a lot during the rebuild of this car, mostley by trial and error. I couldn't afford to have someone do the work for me, so i decided to have a go at it myself. I have also removed the headlamps off the grill shell, and replaced them with a set of guides that now mount off a frenched bracket i made and frenched into the top of front fenders.
Tail lights have gone from this.
To this, they are just trailer lights, that will have a chrome ring around them.
