I have a 1952, 302 (now 321 cid)GMC in a HAGR dragster. We currently hold the HAGR quarter mile record.

I personally wouldn't recommend you build a GMC unless you need to punish yourself for some unspeakable transgression from your youth that involved a goat, 3 rubber snakes and kids wading pool.
