I don't know of anyone who works on them but I have a pdf that I downloaded from the net. It has a lot of Info. I just don't know how to post it here. Google Truckstill and Tip-Toe Matic. There is a mention of them on the HAMB and also the Stovebolt BB I think.

The "File manager" won't allow pdf files, but if you e-mail me a copy I'll post it to my site, and post a link - then anyone can down-load by clicking.

Some kind soul has also posted a set of individual images of the Truckstell literature. I recall reading about the unit back in the early fifties, but I've never seen one.

Here is a link to an earlier thread about Truckstells. Evidently it was Ken who sent the pdf file I have. Funny that I found this link by Googleing and could not find it in a search here. I'll try to figure out how to get you a link to the file. I Googled Truckstell Overdrive and got a lot of hits. Beater

Sorry I didn't see Hoyt's post. That is the info I have. Tom

I had purchased a Truckstell unit at one time - sent a check to the seller and when the weekend came and I was headed out to drive 200 miles to go pick it up - the guy calls and said he was mailing my check back because he decided that he wanted to keep it. . .

I ended up going a different direction and got an open driveline rearend and used an A833 tranny with a GM snout to get OD.

If anyone else needs the information, I still have it around here somewhere.

Ken, In that old thread Titen said he would put this in the Tech-Tips if you sent it to him. Could you do that please. Beater

Thanks Ken. My friend with the Truckstell ended up losing the truck to his X. She'll never do anything with it.
