Hi all,

I have a Chevy Van from 1980 with a inline six engine.
In the Netherlands it's rare because everybody wants a V8.
But now my engine is weared out, all black smoke coming out the exhaust when running.
And there is oil on the intake manifold..

So I purchased a "new" 1977 camaro engine and want rebuilt it and place it in my Van.

But I have two questions : What should I do to make the engine running "happy" on LPG.
(1 liter gas = 1,25 Euro // 1 liter LPG = 0,43 Euro)
And which firm sells parts for the inliner and will ship it to Europe?
(Or are there parts I can use from V8 engines??)

For me it's all new, so maybe these questions seems very simple for you all.

Thanks for your time

Frank

p.s. is there a way to get rid off the emission stuff........

Hoi Frank

tO run happy an engine with LPG your must use valves of stainless steel to avoid damage to valves and your engine will be more slow because the calorific power of the LPG is minor than the power of Gasoline.
Use Impco or Nolff's equipment, they work great..
