It's the same basic engine but you're right in watching out for a reverse rotation job. Not all boat builders use a left and right rotation engine for twin screws. Some change the prop shafts rotation through the marine gear
( transmission ) and both engines are conventional rotation units. Some engines will even have a tag or decal on the valve cover to indicate it is reversed rotation.
