long story short version.
i have a 1968 Chevelle with a Turbo V6, I ran a best of 12.10 on 10-26-2010.
I just blew up my engine, now i have to make a choice between rebuilding the V6 or dropping in the OE 250 with a turbo.
id like to build it on paper first to see how much $$$ the Turbo 250 compares to a high performance rebuild of my current T-V6.
I was/am thinking of starting of by just dropping in the 250 as is and strapping in a turbo with a Fuel injection set up and running it on very low boost just to see if id like the way it works and to keep costs down as much as possible in case i don't like it. If i like the way it works i'll pull the motor back out and do the necessary mods to the engine to reach my goal of 11.50s reliably.
What are the ballpark prices for these items and where can i find them?
1-Exhaust header?
2-Intake manifold
3-I have a very good TE-6031 that i can get a 3-TO-4 Bolt adopter flange. Would this turbo work on this engine?
4-Fuel injection management?
