OOPS! My bad! All Chev
cars '42-'48 had the same 'doorhumps' in fact IIRC all GM cars had them with Chev being the smallest. Below the hump s/b a rocker panel extension that fills in the 'blank' space. I'm just having the body shop tack a skirt onto the bottom of the hump for appearance purposes.
