Sam Welch Contributor S Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 272 Castle Valley, UT	On my 292 the dipstick tube is 5 13/16 inches long(exterior to the block) and the dipstick is 14 7/8 inches, including the overlap at the top that goes over the end of the tube. The "full" mark is 1 9/16 inches from the end of the dipstick. Sam '38 Stude/292
