VWNate, if you want notifications when there are replies, you should be able to go into the "My Stuff" button at the top of the page, select "My Watch Lists", "Watched Topics", then over on the right in Blue will be "Edit Topics" select that.
You will wind up with a list of topics you are watching and the notification options are "none" and "immediately".
If you have "immediately" selected and still aren't getting your notifications, check your profile to make sure the email you have listed is good.
