me again. i checked the timing on my chevy 250. it's at 4 degrees with out vacuum,is that right?

no one knows what the timing degrees are supposed to be???

6 degrees BTDC. Or give it as much as possible & not have the engine detonate.
If it detonates back off the timing.

This will give you better mileage. Running as much timing w/out detonating.

The timing varies from different models & different years.
