My GMC Syclone has a power brake booster & I believe it just has a check valve installed into the brake booster. It looks like a standard check valve that goes into the booster rubber gromet.
Hydroboost units work better period than a vacuum assisted brake system.
W/hyroboost, the brakes are seeing 2000 PSI or there abouts @ all times.
