After cranking my 59 Suburban I noticed it sounded dry. After a peak at my Oil pressure gauge I shut it down fast......no oil pressure. Turns out there has developed a crack just above the drain plug. Anyone have an extra pan for sale near Nashville?

Dear Mr. Garretthes;
NAPA sells a repair kit for that (fiberglass) or the pan could removed & welded.
Good luck, John M.....

Weld the pan. A good welder should be able right where it sits AS Long as it is not into the threads of the drain plug.It should be a easy job. If it is into the threads Your Going to need a GOOD Tap Not a L cheap O. Hope this helps. }[oooooo]
PS.If you can get it off and for what ever REason you can't find anyone to Fit it Send It to me I'll Fix. Send me a Pic if you can Of the Cracked area..Even If it is Into the threads It can Be FIXED

Dear Mr. G;
Larry is right, get it welded.
However; Doing it on the vehicle there is a major chance of explosion/fire etc.
So just take it off and have HIM fix it. He'll send it back "looking like new."

Thanks for the offer Larry, I did take it off, welded it and it's back on. I just broke down and bought a welder.
