At 17 and with limited real world driving experience how much power do you want?
"MORE" is always the answer but a 79 3/4 is gonna be a pig no-matter what just due to the weight and the gears. I would advise tuning that thing perfectly and be grateful it's not a V8 with a quadrajet.
