Shaking the bolts loose in a 292 is really pretty common. Its a harmonic problem relative to its design. I would be concerned about the excessive thrust movement, but don't think its contributing to your problem. If caught early enough, it might not require the crank to be removed to fix the thrust surface on the crank, left unattended, it can manifest into a larger problem.
