Why not use a new damper designed for the 292? See this previous post:
292 Damper The main reason was cost. The other was that we just need one pulley groove.
We talked about the need to have the snout trimmed down (as Larry pointed out) and possibly the stock tdc mark on the 327 balancer might have to move.
