If going with a 4 the Ecotec seems to be a better choice.
All the groundwork has been done and you can get factory sourced parts to build up to a 1200 HP engine.
All the work done so far on the 4200 pertains to the 2900 too..
more torque... if I could find one cheap enough - I'd build it and put in the truck just to be different...
