Someone over on 67-72chevytrucks questioned the moderator of Stacy's website (on these very points) shortly after the show first aired:
67-72chevytrucks.com apparently they checked the casting numbers . . .
I was thinking that the 'take-out' went back into the crate from which the 292 emerged . . . but the engine on camera doesn't appear to have ever been run.
Curious . . .
