OP haleybaby Active BB Member H Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 31 Quartz Hill , California	A few of my amigos out here in the desert north of L.A. tell me to watch my r.pm.'s while driving my stock 1 barrel 235'chevy. What is the max. r.p.m.'s I should run the Stovebolt at? Thank You.

4onthefloor Contributor 4 Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 256 Hillsboro, OR	4000 peak, keep it below 3000 for long term cruise. If it has been balanced 4500 should be ok. 1950 Chevy pickup with '62 261, 4 speed.
